Books every woman should read in her 40's, 30's or at any point in her life!

With a new year comes more time for reflection, planning, and one of my favorite things reading! Anyone that knows me for 5 seconds knows that I attribute much of where I am in my life today due to what I have learned through the vast knowledge and wisdom contained in books.

They have been my companion in life during some of the most confusing,

traumatic, and transformative years of my life. I thought I would take a moment to share my Top 5 Book Recommendations of all time, each one having a significant impact on me at different parts of my life. I hope they serve you too!

1. 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey

This was my first personal development book I ever read! It was a recommendation when I first got involved in direct sales at 18 years old. It is a classic and one I go back to every couple years because the principles are timeless and something everyone can relate to.. no matter your age or stage in life. A must read and great gift idea for the young leaders in your life!

2. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker

I am not sure who first introduced this book to me but I read it in my late 20's and it completely changed the way I viewed money and my ability to create more wealth in my life. Total game changer! It made me realize how much of wealth starts with the way we currently view and treat money and how to shed old stories and baggage we may be carrying around in this area. Get it on audio as a bonus - there is something about his voice that still speaks to my soul today!

3. The Universe Has Your Back by Gabby Bernstein

I read this a couple years ago as I was building up my first franchise business up to six figures and it reminded me that the universe is always working in your favor and to look for the small miracles and affirmations that you are being
guided. Opened me up the miracle of synchronicity and divine timing. Highly recommend to anyone struggling keeping the faith that your dreams are on their way to you now.

4. The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.

This is a book I have gifted to the sales teams I have managed over the years and in my mind should be a prerequisite for anyone in sales or business! Reminds you that every action you take in business matters…even when you cannot see it yet! Sometimes when building a business or working towards a goal in life..it is hard to see if the effort is even adding up. This book proves everything matters. It compounds like interest!

5. The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks.

This book is so huge for anyone looking to up level their life and understand the shifts needed to allow even MORE abundance and success into your life. He discusses what everyone encounters at one point in business or in life which
is your “Upper Limit” and how to break free of it. Eye opener for anyone feeling “stuck” in life or about to embark on a new project or transition in life.

Although I could talk for hours with you (and over a couple bottles of wine!) on what books have taught me over the years – these are my top 5! I would encourage you to add them to your 2021 book list!
